Mr. Chandravadan Desai is the Chairman of CD Equisearch Private Limited. He brings with him more than 30 years of experience in capital market and provides the strategic vision and leadership behind the organisation. He laid the founding stones of the business in 1972 and has steered the firm a long way with his drive, enthusiasm, and enduring pursuit of excellence.

His focus is to build upon the company’s key strength — creating wealth for its clients — while maintaining highest standards of ethics.

Mr. Desai is a director of numerous distinguished companies and a member of executive committees of various Chambers of Commerce. He has always been committed to various social causes and is a founder trustee of many philanthropic trusts.

Mr. Pranay Desai is currently heading the Mumbai operations of the Company, focusing on the tradition of creating wealth for its clients in the most ethical manner.

Bachelor Degree in Business Management from Boston College, Massachusetts (USA) and a Master in Business Administration with specialization in Finance from University of Miami, Florida (USA) help Mr.Desai to focus on Finance & Capital Markets, having already demonstrated sound leadership skills while serving as the President of MBA Finance Club and the MBA International Business Club of his university.

Mr.Desai brings together a new strategic vision and dynamism which will serve the organization including group’s other companies - CD Equifinance and CD Commosearch whose Boards he has joined.

Mr. Nand Gopal Khaitan, by qualification LLB, is a committee member of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and serves on Boards of many well-known companies. A senior partner of M/s Khaitan & Co. for three decades, Mr. Khaitan is a renowned authority on mergers and acquisitions, commercial litigations and various other corporate and arbitration matters.

Mr. Kamal Toolsidass, a graduate in commerce, has an experience of more than 30 years. He is an investor of repute and serves as Director on Boards of several companies. He has been president of Gunny Trade Association and East India Jute and Hessian Exchange. A renowned businessman, Mr. Toolsidass has substantial expertise and interest in the Jute Industry. A keen rowing enthusiast himself, Mr. Toolsidass is also the Past President of Bengal Rowing Club.

Mr. Nilesh Vasa, a Chartered Accountant by profession and holds a Master’s degree in Management from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A). He possesses two decades of experience of working with leading financial institutions like Industrial Development Bank of India, Reliance Capital and JM Morgan Stanley. He heads the Private Client Group wing of the Company.

Mr. Jayesh Vora, a Chartered Accountant by profession, possesses more than 8 years of experience in capital market. He is the youngest member on the Board. His area of expertise among other things includes finance, risk management and statutory compliances. He heads the entire Capital Market operations and Depository division of the Company.

Mr.Rajesh Agarwal, Director-Research is a post graduate in commerce from Calcutta University, and has gained wide experience in the last 18 years. Prior to joining CD Equisearch in 2000, Rajesh gained in depth knowledge of the Financial Markets while working with Capital Market Publishers and Lohia Securities. As head of the Equity Research Wing, he appears regularly as Guest Analyst at CNBC, Awaaz, CNN-IBN, NDTV Profit , Zee Business & NE Bangla.

Besides heading the equity research function he looks after Primary Market, Mutual Funds & Net Trading Departments.
